Car Finance Options at Hampshire Motor Company

Hire Purchase (HP)

HP finance spreads the cost of your car into fixed monthly payments. You pay a deposit first. Then you pay the rest in instalments plus interest. Once the last payment clears, the car is yours. This option works well if you want to own the car outright and keep it long term.

Personal Contract Purchase (PCP)

PCP finance lowers your monthly payments compared to HP. You pay a deposit, then smaller monthly amounts over an agreed term, often three years. At the end of the term you get three choices. Pay the final balance and keep the car. Hand the car back. Or use any leftover value as a deposit on your next car. PCP suits drivers who like to upgrade every few years.

Personal Leasing (Contract Hire)

Contract Hire works like PCP but without the option to buy the car at the end. You drive a car on fixed monthly payments for a set term, then simply return it. This is a good fit if you never want to worry about resale value or ownership.
